Featuring nine bedrooms, seven full baths and two half baths, Fearing Cottage was built for family fun, days of beach, sand and sun and nights of relaxation.

Located right on the oceanfront and with a private walkway to the beach, you are removed from the busier areas of the beach but still within a few minuutes drive to some wonderful Outer Banks restaurants, shops and area attractions.

There is an elevator, making it easy to get your suitcases and groceries upstairs. Baby equipment is provided: a port-a-crib, high chair and baby gate. Please bring the sheets for the port-a-crib. Also, there are two grills at the Fearing Cottage for your convenience, one gas and one charcoal.

The rec room has something for everyone; a pool table, wet bar, full size refrigerator and elliptical for those who want to stay in shape. Internet access is available so don't forget your laptop pc. Oceanfront decks mean views, views, views of the beautiful beaches on the OBX. There is nothing better than having that first cup of coffee while the waves roll in.

South Nags Head homes are found in the area south of Milepost 16.5. This is is primarily residential and backs up to Pea Island Wildlife Refuge, so you get to be away from it all and still be close to lots of things to, places to see.

Schedule some time to catch a performance of The Lost Colony Outdoor Drama on Roanoke Island ... make a day trip of and visit the Elizabethan Gardens and Festival Park too. The kids will love the NC Aquarium. The little town of Manteo is full of charm and southern hospitality. You will also find some unique gifts there; perfect for friends back home.

Nearby Restaurants include: Basnight's Lone Cedar Cafe, Owens, Sam and Omies, Sugar Creek and Tale of the Whale.

The Wright Brothers Monument in Kill Devil Hills is a short drive away and you will pass by Jockey's Ridge on the way, you can't miss it! It is the largest sand dune on the East Coast.
